Tuesday, April 25th, 2006i never speak of my work. what i do for so so many hours of the week always seems like something to keep off this page… that is until i have something to share and well, now’s the perfect time.
i work at the u.s. holocaust memorial museum in dc. i work on all kinds of online production/design/editing/photos/copyright/videos/audios/animations/i could go on and on but you get the point. i’m all over the place, which i love. i love that. always wanted that and am very very happy here. just been over a year and i’m still so excited to go in every day. i’ve learned to very much over the last year and i can’t wait to keep learning.
today we launched a new website. this site has been very near and dear to me for the last many months and has been part of the reason why my posts have been a bit lazy in finding there way to be published. my friend joyce designed this site and i’ve been busting my but to get it up and ready for a good viewing. so here it is, oh geez, i’m nervous a little.
this project, after the holocaust, is an audio project which follows the lives of six survivor’s of the holocaust after the war. there are bits of audio throughout and then full 30 minute interviews with each survivor. downloads of the full interviews are available and so incredible to hear. intimate and courageous and just so moving.
i hope you enjoy it as much as i do. oh and download flash 8 if you don’t have it already…
