so close to done i can feel it

the shower’s back up, the walls are painted (although i’m constantly rethinking our color choice, too cold?) the sink is back in and well all that’s left is painting the ceiling and putting in the exhaust fan (maybe cutting a whole in the side of the house would be better done in the spring)… so… there we are.
and in other news we’ve become recently obsessed with making our own pizza. obsessed! we make them like once a week, trying out new toppings and cheeses and sauces… (leeks and mushrooms with goat cheese is my current fave).
and i dug in and made my first attempt at one of nicky’s recipes and even with my elementary cooking skills i was able to pull off her ratouille soup. It was amazing people! delicious, not too hard and well worth the time, especially the straining.. yum. speaking of obsessions, next i’ll have to try out this bread that susan keeps popping out of her oven. pretty tempting lady!

The fact that you installed tin walls in your bathroom is just another item on my long list of reasons why you rock. The bathroom looks gorgeous. And may I recommend that you make the no-knead bread when you are very hungry – it is best eaten the same day/night it is baked (so we usually eat the whole loaf right then and there). I don’t want any dissatisfied bakers…

So I am insanely jealous of your bathroom remodel. Are those really tin all tiles? Reproduction? Where, pray tell did you score those? And is the floor tile Ann Sacks? I can talk tile all day – love the stuff. I love your bathroom and that shower curtain is just the crowning glory!
